Eric Hicklen Jr, publicly known as "Braek Haven," is an American Musician with a passion for Videography, Coffee, and Perfumery.

​

     "I believe that I was meant to cater to our sense of sound, sight, taste, and smell..." 

     Braek Haven released his first fragrance in April of 2021 titled "Bear Fruit Vol.1, which was named after his EP. He collaborated with Chad Bylsma to create a unique and ironic fruity scent representing his musical project.  Bear Fruit Vol.1 can be streamed on all platforms.

BlackPerfumers.com is an initiative to connect, highlight, and promote the Black perfumer. 

To further this effort, BlackPerfumers.com invited emerging and aspiring Black perfumers ages 18 up and residing in the United States who were interested in taking their hobby to the next level to apply to its Train Your Nose Scholarship.

With support from the Institute for Art and Olfaction, the Train Your Nose Scholarship awards one recipient a $1000 gift voucher for classes to further their education with the Institute for Art and Olfaction and a materials kit from BlackPerfumers.com to enhance their perfumery practice.
